CTC at the Races

Let us know what races you're doing by adding your name to the race calendar!  To encourage participation, CTC members get 3 RAV points for competing in CRS races and 1 RAV point for competing in non-CRS races.  Members also get 3-4 RAV points for volunteering at CRS Races, and 1 RAV point for volunteering in non-CRS races.  The catch?  You have to add your name to the list BEFORE the race in order to earn your points!  

To add your name to the race calendar, click on the race you're participating in and sign up in the event you are doing.  If you're doing a race that's not on the calendar, let us know by emailing president@chicagotriclub.com with the name and location of the race, date, and web site, at least one week prior to the race (earlier is better).  Multisport races only please!

    We meet at Ohio Street Beach every Thursday at 6:15pm for a swim start followed by a 2 mile run.

    We typically follow stroke and stride with stink and drink, we sit at the cafe and enjoy meals or drinks (and stink)

    ‍♀️Monday Maintenance Runs – 6:00 PM
    Join us every Monday for an easy-paced group run with @4starendurance!

    Runs are based on time, not pace or distance, gradually increasing each week with 3-week build-up cycles. We alternate directions (north/south) along the lakefront path to keep things fresh.

    The “1 mile = 10 min” rule is just for mapping! Move at your own conversation pace—run or walk, whatever feels right for you. These are recovery-focused runs (Zone 2–3 effort).

    Location: Meet on the steps of Lakeshore Sport & Fitness
    Warm-up starts at 6:10 PM with Coach Marsha
    Close to CTA, Metra & discounted parking at Park Millennium Garage (221 N Stetson Ave). Get parking passes at the LSF front desk.

    Amenities available (restrooms, lockers, showers) if you sign the waiver in advance:
