Join us at our monthly meeting! Come for happy hour at 6pm to meet and mingle with other CTCers, followed by a 1-hour clinic starting at 7 pm. 

This month's topic is Nutrition and will be presented by Melissa Bowman, Chicago’s renowned Nutrition & Fitness Expert. She has a Master’s degree in Clinical Nutrition, is a registered dietitian (RD) of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics with a holistic nutrition background, and is a Certified Level 1 Coach of the USA Triathlon Association. 

Specifically, she'll be focusing on Bio-hacking Recovery and the Immune System For the Endurance Athlete.

Staying healthy is critical to effective training. Research shows that high intensity exercise and endurance training temporarily weakens the immune system. Hard workouts can create an “open window” in your body’s defenses that may derail training programs and performance gains. Learn what foods and supplements can boost your immune system naturally, as well as enhance recovery to be ready for your next training session or race.

We'll have free beer from Goose Island, new & renewing members can pick up your CTC member gifts during the 6-7pm happy hour. We also sometimes have a raffle after the talk, so make sure you stay for the end!

You can also get some of those early season kinks worked out! TRIFACTIVE Sports Injury + Performance Clinic will have Expert Massage Therapist, Rachel, on-site from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM for complimentary 10-minute chair massages. Sign-up sheet will be available on first come, first served basis. Spots are limited.
