Winter Workouts

Muffin Runs

9-11am October – April

A relaxed 1- hour run (sometimes with challenging weather) followed by brunch.  The Muffin Runs are free (except for brunch!) and leave at 9:00 am Sundays from the CARA Board (Diversey and the lakefront running path).  Since there will be varying paces, the only rule is that everyone end up at the brunch spot ~10:00 am.   Since it’s more fun with more people, sign up here to lead; your only duties are to make sure people join you for muffin run, show up for the run, and you get to pick the brunch spot. You may create a FB invite, post on the forum, or otherwise get the word out.

This winter, CTC is working with current and potential sponsors to host winter workouts for CTC members.  Each week over the winter, a different sponsor or local business will invite us to join them for a workout for free!   This is a great opportunity to try out workouts our sponsors offer, train indoors with other CTCers, and stay in shape in the off-season!
