Would you like to become a faster, more efficient runner? Have you suffered common running injuries? This is the clinic for you! With the leadership of Coach Mike & Coach Michelle of Fast & Fit Coaching, you will learn to improve your form, technique, strength and reduce your risk of injury. They will cover proper running mechanics, lead the participants through warm-up drills to enhance performance, as well as a short segment on strength exercises to reduce injury risk.
Come prepared to participate so that the coaches from our sponsor, Fast & Fit Coaching, can show us all some drills and then we'll practice them at the clinic.
Laura Ohms will discuss running form and injury prevention.
Laura is a runner and triathlete who has been racing for 7 years and has a particular love for triathlon. She is a USAT Nationals qualifier and a UESCA certified triathlon coach who thoroughly enjoys supporting athletes to strive for their goals and process the ups and downs along the way. Laura currently coaches at EDGE Athlete Lounge and is also a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, offering mental skills clinics, classes, and consults for athletes of all ability levels.

Start the season off right with a weekend away in the beautiful rolling hills of Galena IL with some group workouts and an awesome club hosted BBQ Saturday night! Please plan to bring a side/desert to share.

Bike Safety and Handling Clinic @ Caldwell Woods Forest Preserve
Adam from Get-a-Grip Cycles is hosting Bike Safety and Handling Clinic. Bring your bike and helmet. Adam teaches proper riding techniques for on the road and group rides. This clinic is geared towards new riders and those interested sharpening their skills. Start the season right, and learn how to ride with confidence with fellow triathletes!
Park is at N. Milwaukee and W. Devon. Entrance is on Devon east of Milwaukee.
It’s always a great time getting out of the city and hanging out with CTCers while tackling the hills of Galena.

A CompuTrainer is an indoor bike trainer with a precision ergometer measuring power wattage, heart rate and cadence.
Hey CTC Newbies! FFC's USAT certified coach, Chris Navin, will lead a computrainer ride of Pleasant Prairie's bike course. If you never rode on a trainer before, no problem! Bring your bike and we will get you set up for a fun indoor ride that you don't want to miss .

What to bring: Bike, bike shoes, trainer skewer and training tire or slick tire (triathlon and road bikes typically have slick tires). If you have any questions about your bike and rear skewers compatible. Please feel free to reach out.

Open Water Swim Clinic Ohio Street Beach Time is TBD
Are you new to open water swimming or haven’t been in the open water since last season? Then come join us to learn or for a refresher on sighting, how to swim straight and massive starts. Coach Fitz of Chicago Blue Dolphins will help us improve our open water skills in our lovely Lake Michigan.

Join us for our annual Year-End Party and Awards Ceremony! We'll celebrate everyone's accomplishments for the year and give our prizes to our CRS winners, our best volunteers, and the winners of our various year-end categories!
